Tech Updates via Edline

When is too much information a bad thing?  In an effort to be as redundant as possible, I will be updating my blog and posting Tech Updates via Edline.

Hope the school year is going well for everyone.  Check out this week's post on iPads.  Looking forward to hearing how everyone is working the iPads into Teaching and Learning!

9/14/11

iPad carts are ready to go.  They are currently loaded with about 60-70 apps.  At this time, there is no funding for additional apps, buildings can add any free apps that are valuable to the teaching and learning process.  iPad apps will be updated on a quarterly basis.  If there are apps that you would like to see in the next image,  fill out this Google Form.

Check with your librarian or tech leader to see how these devices are going to be managed in your building.  The iPads are color-coded so classrooms can check them out as a class set or check out a group of iPads to be used for small groups or centers.  When you use the iPads, please be sure to lock the cart when you are done with them.

If you have any technical or curriculum questions regarding the iPads, you can email Maureen Miller.
Thanks to Beth Hiele from Indian Trail for sharing her Pad presentation from Tech Academy.
